    • About

Like vintage wine, Los Laureles Lodge gets better with time. Rich in legend and history, the Lodge and Restaurant reflect the colorful influence of Spanish conquistadors, tribal Indians, and a flavorful mixture of bandits, cowboys and socialites.

Los Laureles Lodge is Carmel Valley's original hotel and hunting lodge. The Pacific Improvement Company acquired the lodge in 1915. During the ownership of the Pacific Improvement Company many visiting dignitaries from other countries, as well as our country, where the guests of the Del Monte Hotel were transported by tallyho coaches when there was little or no sun along the coast.

Los Laureles Lodge can host a variety of different kinds of events. Many a family reunion have been held here with plenty of space for a scavenger hunt or bocci ball or just relaxing at the poolside bar with your margarita. Business meeting space is available for that corporate retreat. And of course, weddings are a special part of the Lodge. With every wedding being a custom event, each couple leaves with a special memory embedded in their heart.

Carmel Valley offers award winning wine tasting, horseback riding on the trails of the countryside, drives through open ranchland, and of course, shopping. The Valley boasts a wide variety of boutique shops, galleries and studios. Come relax at a day spa, or browse through a garden shop.
