Reservations or cancelations must be received by Penny by noon, Friday, September 27. Peace of Mind Preparedness is a disaster preparedness service that serves Monterey Bay. Founder Wanda Vollmer provides the information and tools needed to keep your family safe. Wanda created Peace of Mind Preparedness out of a desire to get our community prepared for a natural disaster. She has worked at the American Red Cross as a Community Engagement Manager, as a lead expert for Red Cross Preparedness Programs and community partner development. She has also helped seniors, youth and families with the message of preparedness through disaster education programs. Wanda recently completed the Monterey Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program which focuses on disaster preparedness, search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. She believes that the stronger our community is, the better we will be able to respond to a disaster. Tickets include a delightful buffet lunch at Earthbound Farms, including: salad, sandwiches, cookie platter and assorted beverages.
