Barnyard Shopping Village’s Organic Farmers Market: Tuesdays from 11 am. to 3 pm. (rain or shine). The Barnyard partners with the Monterey Bay Certified Farmer’s Market and offers over 25 local growers the opportunity to showcase their agricultural products such as organic honey, olives, fresh-cut flowers, vegetables, fruit and more. Over 90 percent of available produce offered during the weekly Farmers Market is organically grown.
Chateau Julien introduces its VINTNER SALON Private Wine Tasting. Join Certified Specialist of Wine, Shawn Bruce, in the Estate's private dining room for an exclusive wine tasting of some of Chateau Julien's finest wines Fridays & Saturdays throughout 2008 2:30pm by reservation Limited to eight guests. March 6 - Join Annette Hoff on Thursday, March 6 at Piatti Ristorante in Carmel for a Winemaker dinner, featuring the wines of Cima Collina, beginning at 7:00 pm. The deluxe five-course dinner will be paired with four of Cima Collina’s opulent wines and each couple will take home a bottle of Cima Collina wine. Cost is $100 per person. The community is invited to this fun-filled mixer hosted by Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in support of the 2008 racing season. Participating Chambers include Monterey Peninsula, Salinas Valley, Marina, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Carmel Valley and North Monterey County.
